Pain brings the Pearl

   A dear, dear, sister in Christ sent me this quote this past week:

"All the most eminent saints in every age have been men of sorrows, and often pruned.  I doubt if God can use anyone greatly, until He has hurt him deeply." ~ A.W. Tozer.

Wow.

"For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it [a harvest of fruit which consists in righteousness—in conformity to God’s will in purpose, thought, and action, resulting in right living and right standing with God]."  ~ Hebrews 12:11 (Amplified Version)

  If it wasn't for the pain...I would never know HIM as I do now. <3  The faithful, FAITHFUL GOD through every trying moment....every struggling breath....every single second.  HE.IS.HERE. <3  How I love Him for His never-ending, all-sufficient grace.  Mmmmm.....thank you SO much, Jesus for being here...through every trying night and every painful day.  You give the HOPE & the STRENGTH to keep pressing on....HOPE & STRENGTH that ONLY YOU can give. <3  Pearls cannot form without much pain and irritation....diamonds cannot form without severe cutting...and beautiful shrubs cannot form without the Master's skillful pruning.  Blows from His hand are not unskilled...they are precise, calculated and needed.  He doesn't lighten the fire until He sees HIS face shining on the precious metal. <3  Oh for grace to TRUST HIM MORE....oh for a heart free of selfish love and only love for my Savior....oh for a heart to live for Him only. <3

God never moves without purpose or plan
When trying His servant and molding a man.
Give thanks to the LORD though your testing seems long;
In darkness He giveth a song.

I could not see through the shadows ahead;
So I looked at the cross of my Savior instead.
I bowed to the will of the Master that day;
Then peace came and tears fled away.

Now I can see testing comes from above;
God strengthens His children and purges in love.
My Father knows best, and I trust in His care;
Through purging more fruit I will bear.

O Rejoice in the LORD
He makes no mistake,
He knoweth the end of each path that I take,
For when I am tried
And purified,
I shall come forth as gold.

~Ron Hamilton

Amen.....thank You, Jesus. <3  Oh rejoice in the Lord!!  He makes NO mistake. <3

<3 I'm so grateful for the above 2 songs...God has used them to get me through so many dark moments. Sometimes Repeat is my best friend. ;-) <3  lol.

I trust You, Jesus!  Even when it's hard and painful....oh for grace to TRUST YOU MORE. <3
